A 1/3-inch progressive scan CMOS paired with the FH8852 and F23 processors gives this USB camera an effective 1920x1080 picture at 25 or 30fps under an automatically adjusted shutter. Sensitivity reaches 0.05 Lux in colour and 0.01 Lux in monochrome at F1.2, the signal-to-noise ratio stands at no less than 50 dB, and an IR cut filter handles day-to-night switching. On-chip processing covers automatic white balance, automatic backlight compensation, automatic gain, 3DNR denoising and wide dynamic range from 0 to 72 dB.

Video encodes as YUY2, MJPEG or H.264, with MJPEG streams selectable from 1920x1080 down to 640x360. Audio is captured through the MIC input and compressed as G.711a, G.711u or G.726, and both streams travel over a single USB 2.0 link using standard UVC and UAC classes, so Windows, Android and Linux hosts need no extra driver. Optics are M12 fixed-iris fixed focal length lenses of 3.6 mm or 4 mm at F1.4, covering 103 degrees diagonally, 86.5 degrees horizontally and 46 degrees vertically.

Power arrives through the USB connection at 5 volts with an operating current of 160 mA, and the finished unit weighs 0.13 kg.
