AHD TVI CVI CVBS to USB 3.0 video capture card
Capture card taking AHD, TVI, CVI or CVBS coax video on a BNC input and streaming it over USB3.0 at up to 1920x1080, 5-60 fps. Driver-free UVC/UAC operation on Windows and Linux.
The card takes coax video in through a BNC connector, recognising AHD, TVI, CVI and CVBS signals, and forwards the processed picture to a computer over a USB3.0 port. Output resolutions start at 1920x1080 and continue with 1600x1200, 1360x768, 1280x1024, 1280x960, 1280x720, 1024x768, 800x600, 720x480, 720x576 and 640x480, with the frame rate adjustable from 5 to 60 fps. Audio and video follow the standard UVC/UAC specification, so the card runs driver free and is recognised directly by Windows, Linux and Android; under Windows, OBS handles capture and Potplayer playback. Power draw is under 3 W, the working range is -20 C to 65 C at 5% to 90% humidity, and the card measures 97 mm x 51 mm x 21 mm at a weight of 100 g.
Wiring is short: the coaxial output from the camera or recorder feeds the BNC input, the card goes into a USB3.0 socket on the host, and the operating system lists it as a camera device with no driver to install. Full high definition has to be switched to inside the capture software, then the frame rate is set according to the display and available bus capacity; higher rates look smoother but take more bandwidth from the same controller, so spare ports matter before adding cards. Typical use is bringing existing analog and analog HD pictures into a computer for viewing, recording or streaming, and for frame-by-frame comparison of image quality. Over long sessions watch the case temperature and whether the connectors have seated, and when the picture looks wrong, check the resolution and frame rate setting in the software first. Before ordering, confirm which input format the front end uses among AHD, TVI, CVI and CVBS, that the host has a USB3.0 port running Windows, Linux or Android, and that the size and weight of the card will not crowd the wiring.
